RoamingXplorer is a Thailand-based tour operator. We process personal data in accordance with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”) and other data-protection requirements that may apply to our activities.

We collect most detailed traveler information after an inquiry or booking through direct communication and traveler information forms that may be sent by email.

We aim to disclose only the personal data reasonably necessary for the recipient to perform the relevant service or meet a lawful requirement.

Service providers handling personal data on our behalf are expected to protect it and use it only for authorized purposes.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

8. International Transfers

RoamingXplorer is based in Thailand, while our guests, travel partners and technology providers may be located in other countries.

As a result, personal data may be transferred to, stored in or processed in a country outside Thailand. The data-protection laws of that country may differ from Thailand’s laws.

Where an international transfer is subject to legal requirements, we will take appropriate steps to protect the personal data. Depending on the circumstances, these measures may include:

Inquiry information that does not result in a booking will not be retained indefinitely.

Booking, transaction, and accounting records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, insurance, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Sensitive traveler information, identification documents and special-requirement information will be deleted, securely destroyed or anonymized when they are no longer reasonably required, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.

Information collected through cookies is retained for the periods described in our Cookie Policy.

RoamingXplorer uses reasonable administrative, organizational and technical measures to protect personal data against:

  • Request correction of inaccurate, incomplete or misleading personal data;
  • Request deletion, destruction or anonymization in certain circumstances;
  • Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
  • Object to certain processing, including certain direct-marketing activities;
  • Request data portability where applicable;
  • Ask how your personal data was obtained when it was not collected directly from you; and
  • Lodge a complaint with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee or another competent supervisory authority where applicable.

Some rights are not absolute. We may decline or limit a request where permitted by law, but where appropriate, we will explain the reason.

Some RoamingXplorer journeys are designed for families and may include children.

Where personal data about a child is required to plan or operate a journey, we will collect only the information reasonably necessary for that purpose.

Where consent from a parent, legal guardian or another authorized person is required by law, we will take reasonable steps to obtain it.

Parents and guardians should provide information about children traveling with them. Children should not submit personal data directly to RoamingXplorer without a parent or guardian involved.

If you provide information about an emergency contact or another traveler, you confirm that you are authorized to provide that information or have another lawful basis for doing so.

You should make the individual aware that you have provided their information to RoamingXplorer and, where reasonably possible, direct them to this Privacy Policy.

We will use emergency-contact information only for journey administration, safety and emergency purposes, unless another use is required or permitted by law.

Our website may contain links to websites operated by hotels, travel partners, tourism organizations, social-media platforms or other third parties.

Third-party websites and services operate under their own privacy and cookie policies. RoamingXplorer is not responsible for their independent privacy practices or website content.

We encourage you to review the relevant privacy information before providing personal data to a third party.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to:
